Meet Steve Pope, Aircraft Counselor
Steve Pope is a long-time pilot who joined LifeStyle Aviation in 2019 as an Aircraft Sales Counselor after spending 25 years as a noted aviation journalist. Highlights of his writing career include nearly a decade at Flying Magazine, where he served as the publication’s Editor-in-Chief and won numerous awards for his articles, as well aviation collaborations with The Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, CNN, and other media outlets.
Steve began flying at age 15 in a Piper Cub at a small grass strip in his native New Jersey, and today holds commercial multi-engine and seaplane ratings, and has piloted scores of piston and turbine airplanes for flight reviews in various aviation magazines. He is an inductee into the New Jersey Aviation Hall of Fame and lives with his wife and two sons in Hunterdon County, New Jersey.
